Trench Crusade is a gothic horror tabletop skirmish game where a holy war against Hell has consumed the world for centuries. Imagine WW1 trench warfare mixed with medieval crusaders, living saints, demonic monsters, and religious fanaticism. The game plays as a lethal, story-driven skirmish system focused on tense firefights, brutal melee, and warbands that slowly evolve through campaigns. Converting is a huge part of the appeal because the setting is intentionally broad and expressive — players kitbash everything from armored pilgrims and corpse-fed knights to bio-mechanical demons using historical kits, sci-fi parts, and handmade details to create warbands that feel uniquely cursed.
